First, A Couple of Reminders
Monday June 6
1:30-2:30
Mount Carmel Camp
Towner, ND
Wondering what to pack?
You can find a packing list here.
If the weather is warm enough, we'll have water games, so please bring clothes that can get wet/dirty. (For swim suits, boys should wear swim shorts, girls should wear one-piece suits.)
A reminder on our dress code
The way we present ourselves to children and others impacts our effectiveness at sharing the Gospel. We will dress modestly and in good taste, according to the summer missionary code.
The following clothes should not be worn:
- Shorts and skirts must extend past your fingertips when hands are at your side
- Pants should be well fitting and not too tight (for example, leggings should not be worn as pants unless worn under a skirt or shorts)
- Tops should not reveal midriff, have a low neckline, or have spaghetti straps.
- Clothing should not have advertisements, logos, or words that could be considered inappropriate or distracting.
To help you hit the ground running at training camp, you're expected to complete the Gospel for Kids training before arriving.
If you completed the Gospel for Kids training at pre-training, you will need to turn in your Wordless Book/Wristband critique sheet when you arrive at training camp.
